David is the founder of Linton Engineering, LLC and thrives on the challenge of making what seems impossible – possible. He brings more than 30 years of innovative engineering experience to design and construction projects for public and educational facilities, libraries, office buildings, historic structures, commercial buildings, churches, residential structures and recreational facilities. He is the engineer of record on thousands of projects across the Metropolitan Washington, DC region and beyond.

Senior Associate Structural Engineer

Robert is the Senior Associate Structural Engineer and has been a part of the Linton Engineering, LLC team since 2008. He brings extensive project engineering experience to the team with an emphasis on new design-build, renovation and adaptive reuse of commercial buildings, office buildings, public and private educational facilities, libraries, historic structures, churches, residential structures and recreational facilities. He has served as the project engineer for numerous facilities throughout the Metropolitan Washington, DC area for a wide variety of building owners.

Structural Engineer
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering – Structural Emphasis | Virginia Tech
Abdel joined Linton Engineering in May 2022 and has worked as a structural engineer-in-training since he graduated from Virginia Tech in May 2021. His projects to-date include building renovations, pre-engineered metal building foundations, concrete and masonry retaining walls, equipment supports, and structural analysis. He is bilingual in English and Arabic.

Roy joined Linton Engineering in August 2022. He applies experience as a drafting engineer using Revit, AutoCAD, BlueBeam, and ArchiCAD to a variety of industrial, manufacturing, and construction projects.

Structural Technician
Associate of Applied Science in Drafting and Design Technology | ITT Technical Institute
Marvin has seven years of structural design experience with a focus on residential, commercial and academic facilities. He has experience in artistic and creative design techniques and uses computer-aided drafting and software to create complex, 3D drawings, modeling and renderings with Revit, including structural framework, foundations, roofs and retaining walls.
Interests: Unique and custom structures.
Senior Structural Engineer
Bachelor of Science, Civil Engineering with Honors, Structural Emphasis | New Mexico State University
Justin has worked as a structural engineer at LE since 2019, specializing in commercial and custom residential buildings using a variety of construction materials for new construction and existing structures. His previous experience includes franchise and local restaurants, car dealerships, Native American housing communities, medical, retail and educational buildings, as well as photovoltaic (PV) support structures and art sculptures.

Interests: Hiking and camping. Justin has experienced several 50-miler backpacking and rafting trips in the American Southwest and Canada.

Justin joined Linton Engineering in March 2020. He has worked as a structural designer since he graduated from Marshall University in May 2019. His projects include multifamily residential, retail, office and commercial buildings, and also has previous data center experience. His background includes geotechnical analysis and inspections of foundations, masonry and timber structures to ensure building code compliance.

Finance Administrator

Nancy has been with Linton Engineering since 2015. Her experience includes financial analysis, financial management, cost accounting and bookkeeping. She has worked for a large defense contractor, a small general contractor, a church and now a structural engineering firm.

Senior Structural Engineer

Dale has been a part of Linton Engineering for 10 years with a focus on commercial and residential buildings and has eight years of structural engineering experience. His portfolio includes restaurants, mid-rise condo buildings, custom residences, and park pavilions. He has previous experience in analysis, design and inspection of telecommunication towers.

Lead BIM Coordinator

Katie has more than fifteen years of architectural and structural design experience, specializing in custom residential, historical and commercial buildings. A self-proclaimed “BIM Nerd”, she is a consultant, trainer and mentor in Building Information Modeling (BIM), helping dozens of firms up and down the East coast with a lot of time spent in NYC, as well as being a past speaker at Autodesk University. She enjoys the challenge of continuing to push the boundaries of the application of BIM and Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) as it relates to architecture, engineering and construction (AEC).

Sr. Structural Technician and BIM Manager
Associate Degree in Architectural Drafting | Lincoln Technical Institute, Allentown, PA
Jeff has three decades of Building Information Modeling (BIM), Computer-Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) technician and network administration experience. He uses innovative, 3D Modeling with Revit and works with designers, project managers and engineers to translate complex concepts into technical drawings. His expertise ranging from academic, medical and religious to infrastructure and transportation-related structures. He also provides network administration, installation and maintenance of workstations, servers and software, and maintains internal design standards and libraries for the team.

Stephanie has been with Linton Engineering since the founding of the company in 2003. She is currently the office manager. Her experiences include financial analysis, financial management and cost accounting. She has worked for a large government contractor for many years and an engineering firm in Atlanta prior to joining Linton Engineering.

Cathy has 30 years of marketing communications experience, including 20 years in defense and aerospace engineering. She has worked in the civil, defense, intelligence, commercial and energy industries and managed communications programs for global mergers and acquisitions, and organizational and technological integration initiatives.

Interests: Avid traveler. The granddaughter of a soldier KIA in WWII, Cathy visited Germany, Belgium and Luxembourg to walk in her grandfather’s footsteps.

She is involved in every phase of the project from design to construction, and enjoys working closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to provide the best product for the client. Her portfolio encompasses residential designs and schools, and previous experience includes hospitals, mixed-use high rises, government facilities, nuclear power plants, and pressurized steel plate structures.

Garrett has nine years of structural engineering experience focused on analysis and design in reinforced concrete, steel, masonry, and timber structures. He has worked on new construction, rehabilitation, community and commercial projects to include Suitland High School Science Wing and Auditoriums, Georgetown Preparatory School Athletic Dormitories and Stadium, residential rowhouse and commercial office renovations, and previous experience designing animal habitats at the National Zoological Park.

Daniel joined Linton Engineering in March 2021 and previously worked as a structural engineer and designer in the New York/New Jersey area. He specializes in building renovations which include both assessment and design. His projects include landmark buildings, sports stadiums, and high-rise structures, and he has extensive damage assessment and forensic investigation experience. Daniel is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and he is a dual citizen of the U.S.A. and Austria.

His expertise encompasses educational and government institutions, as well as residential, mixed-use, industrial and commercial structures. His background includes integration of green building techniques, flood mitigation and designs to protect structures.

Chungfu has nearly a decade of engineering and structural analysis experience in design of structural components for new construction and existing building rehabilitation. He specializes in using a variety of construction materials for his work, including mild-reinforced/prestressed precast/post-tensioned concrete, structural/cold-formed steel, wood, and masonry. Chungfu collaborates closely with architects, construction contractors, owners, tenants, and drafts people to ensure that safe and design code-compliant projects are delivered on-time and on-budget.

Wangjae joined Linton Engineering in February 2023 and brings eight years of creative and solution-focused structural engineering experience to the team. His work experience includes residential and commercial structural design using wood, steel, reinforced concrete and reinforced masonry for private and multi-family residences, government K-12 and higher education buildings and religious structures. He has experience in the full construction administration lifecycle, from feasibility, field studies and condition reports to ensuring compliance with local and jurisdictional codes.
